Hanbury Barns Wedding Video
Hanbury Barns is one of Staffordshire’s newest wedding venues. Nestled in the National Forest, near Burton Upon Trent, Hanbury Wedding Barn boasts a beautiful setting with fantastic views. Purposefully restored as a wedding venue Hanbury Wedding Barn is the perfect spot for a rustic style barn wedding. The loving restoration of the venue really shows, and it’s clear to see that it’s been designed with weddings in mind.
My first chance to visit Hanbury Barns was back in 2021, for Ffion and Mark’s big day. They got married at a nearby church, then spent the rest of their day at Hanbury Barns. Since they booked I was super excited for their day, and the chance to film at Hanbury Barns. It’s very exciting when a new venue opens!
Hanbury Barns offers various ceremony locations and each one is beautiful. An 18th Century barn plays host to the indoor wedding ceremonies, with exposed beams and lots of windows, the barn is super light and airy. A neutral colour tone also lets couples add their own colour flair that suits them perfectly. The outdoor Wedding Pavilion is a beautiful spot overlooking the lake, giving couples the option to have an outdoor ceremony.
You can’t go wrong with a wedding at Hanbury Barns. The team all operates in a fantastic way, making sure the wedding days run perfectly.
A Beautiful Autumnal Wedding
Autumn weddings are often my favourites. Whilst I do love summer weddings, I don’t always enjoy the intense heat while working. So I really enjoy those cooler autumn days, where the sun is shining, and it’s warm enough to be outside, but not cook myself. Ellie and Oliver’s day was the perfect weather (except for a bit of drizzle in the evening).
It was lovely to start the day capturing Ellie’s bridal preparations, this is always a beautiful way to begin the story of the day for the wedding film. Oliver is a wedding videographer himself, so it was a total honour to be asked to film their day.
Summer Weddings at Hanbury Barns
Due to the unpredictable nature of the British summer time Sarah and Clive, opted for an indoor ceremony, turning the beautiful ceremony room at Hanbury Barns into the perfect backdrop for their special day.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Ian France, French Connection Photography, for the first time. Together, we captured moments that reflected the genuine love and happiness shared between Sarah, Clive, and their loved ones.
The speeches were fantastic as Sarah and Clive recounted their history, sharing how they met and blended their two families together, it added a beautiful layer of meaning to the day. The love that had brought them together resonated in every word spoken.
