Wedding FilmsShropshire Wedding Video
Vision Wave Weddings is in a great location for Shropshire wedding video. Based in Congleton, Cheshire, I’m not too far from the beautiful Shropshire border.
Shropshire has some stunning landscapes that are perfect for wedding videography. So perfect that I opted to have my own wedding in Shropshire, at the amazing Rowton Castle.
I’ve been lucky enough to film at some of the most beautiful Shropshire wedding venues, but of course Rowton Castle is my personal favourite. I look forward to capturing more weddings across Shropshire.
My Approach
My approach to filmmaking is driven by the belief that true beauty lies in the sincerity of the moment. I pride myself on creating wedding films that you will cherish forever, each one beautifully encapsulating the essence of your love and commitment.
The Films
HIGHLIGHT FILM
The highlight film, a 5-7 minute masterpiece, captures the very essence of your wedding day in a visually stunning and emotionally resonant journey. Edited in my signature cinematic style, this isn't just a collection of moments - it's a carefully curated narrative, perfect for sharing on social media, and with your loved ones. Your highlight film is more than a keepsake; it's a celebration of your love story.
FEATURE FILM
For those who seek a more in-depth retelling of their wedding day, the feature film is a 45-60 minute documentary style edit. This comprehensive film includes your entire ceremony, speeches, first dance and all the precious moments in between. Meticulously edited to the music of your choice, the feature film is a cinematic journey through your entire wedding day.
Rowton Castle
As mentioned Rowton Castle is a personal favourite Shropshire wedding venue. My husband and I chose to have our own wedding at Rowton Castle, back in 2017. Castles are awesome, why wouldn’t you want to have your wedding in one? I always love coming back to Rowton Castle, and look forward to many more opportunities to capture weddings there.
As is common with many venues Rowton Castle gives couples the choice of an indoor or an outdoor ceremony. I got married on March 31st, so we played it safe with an indoor ceremony. That being said I have known some couples choose to have outdoor ceremonies in months like November!
The outdoor ceremony area at Rowton Castle is really pretty. But even if you don’t use it for your ceremony it still makes a great back drop for some couples portraits. There are lots of areas, nestled away, around the grounds that are great little spots for other couples portraits too. It’s great to have a lot of options, as couples get a variety of cinematic portraits in their final films.
Hawkstone Hall
I first visited Hawkstone Hall in 2021 for the wedding of Emma and Ashley. When I first arrived I was buzzed through a gate, then took about a mile long drive through a golf course, to get to the venue. When Hawkstone Hall first came into view I just thought “wow”. This is exactly why I love being a Shropshire wedding videographer, visiting some of the most amazing wedding venues that Shropshire has to offer. I get to visit so many amazing venues, and Hawkstone Hall is definitely one of my favourites.
It’s a Grade 1 listed building, nestled in the most beautiful Shropshire countryside. When you enter the venue it just screams classy, the decor, and even the music playing in the background. It’s jaw dropping. There’s a beautiful chapel on site, and that’s where Emma and Ashley tied the knot. I really loved the chapel, the marble floor is beautiful. The entire venue is just incredible.
The Mill Barns
I’ve captured weddings at The Ashes and Pendrell Hall many times over years, so I was delighted when I got booked to film a wedding at the third venue, The Mill Barns for Holly and Sid’s special day. Of course The Mill Barns definitely lived up to my expectations, it is simply stunning! A purpose built wedding venue that is absolutely perfect.
Iscoyd Park
Iscoyd Park is an absolutely beautiful Shropshire wedding venue. I love the ceremony room, it’s got to be my favourite ceremony room of all time. Surrounded by a huge parkland, the venue really is special. I love my visits to Iscoyd Park, it’s always a beautiful day, and the venue co-ordinators are wonderful.
