Foxtail Barns Wedding Video
Foxtail Barns is one of Staffordshire’s newest, and best, wedding venues. Owned by the well established Ensarb Estates, they are also the faces behind some of my other favourite local wedding venues, The Ashes, Pendrell Hall and The Mill Barns. Built on the Consall Hall and Gardens Estate, Foxtail Barns offers some of the most incredible grounds for a Staffordshire wedding venue.
Ceremonies are held in the beautiful, sunlit Orangery. With brick walls, and white beams, the Orangery is rustic and elegant at the same time. The glass roof allows in so much natural light, which is perfect for filming.
After the ceremony guests are always able to enjoy the indoor bar area, or relax outside in the Walled Garden. Couples are invited to explore the 70 acre grounds of Foxtail Barns for their couples portraits; you could literally be out in the grounds all day, they are so extensive.
Autumnal wedding at Foxtail Barns
In September 2024, I had the absolute joy of capturing Chloe & Lewis’ wedding at Foxtail Barns, alongside my wonderful friend Becc Photography. I arrived a couple of hours before the ceremony to kick things off with some drone footage and venue shots, making sure to capture all of the gorgeous little details that Chloe and Lewis had thoughtfully planned.
They said “I do” in The Orangery, bathed in the most beautiful autumn sunshine streaming through the windows. Absolutely gorgeous! During the drinks reception, Becc and I whisked them away for some couple’s portraits around the grounds. Foxtail Barns has endless picture perfect spots, but my personal favourites have to be the bridge and the main driveway.
Bringing Your dog to your foxtail Barns wedding
Chloe & Ciaran’s day was in the midst of summer, and we were blessed with some glorious sunshine. But, the best part of the day is that we were joined by Bonnie, their beautiful Bernedoodle (a combination of a Poodle and a Bernese Mountain Dog – THE CUTEST! As well as being a great venue to work at, Foxtail Barns truly earns its place as one of my favourites since they allow dogs to be a part of your special day.
Working alongside Dionne from Love and Bloom, we got some beautiful family shots of Chloe, Ciaran, and Bonnie throughout the gardens of Foxtail Barns.
Golden Hour Portraits at Foxtail Barns
You’ve heard of golden hour, right? Well, Kim and Adam didn’t just catch it, they struck pure gold on their wedding day. This was hands down one of the most breathtaking golden hours I’ve ever had the privilege of filming.
I spent the entire day with Kim and Adam, starting with their morning preparations. Capturing those early moments is something I love. It sets the stage and helps me tell the full story of your day through film.
Kim and Adam truly thought of everything for their celebration. From content creation, to dance mat arcade games, champagne towers, to homemade DIY garden games, every detail was carefully planned, and nothing was overlooked.
Summer fun at Foxtail Barns
Gemma and Stephanie’s wedding at Foxtail Barns will always hold a special place in my heart. I spent the morning with both brides as they got ready—Gemma on one side of a dividing curtain, Stephanie on the other. Moving between their prep areas was a bit of a challenge, as I carefully navigated around the curtain, making sure they didn’t catch a glimpse of each other before the big moment.
This day was a long time coming, with multiple date changes due to Covid-19, so when it finally arrived, everyone was more than ready to celebrate—and celebrate we did!
After a beautiful ceremony, we whisked Gemma and Steph away for some couples’ portraits around the stunning grounds, capturing the love, laughter, and pure joy between them.
It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments—well worth the wait and an absolute joy to capture.
