Derbyshire Wedding Video

Vision Wave Weddings is based in Cheshire, and is perfect for Derbyshire wedding video. We have really easy access to the county of Derbyshire. Derbyshire is a beautiful county, and has the benefit of having a large portion of the Peak District within it.

The first Derbyshire wedding I filmed was the wedding of Hannah and Thomas, who got married at the Buxton Palace Hotel in 2015. In 2016 I had the pleasure of capturing the wedding of Tamzin and Ben – they had their ceremony at St Giles Church in Cheadle, followed by their reception at Dovecliff Hall.

Another Derbyshire wedding venue is Tissington Hall. It’s an absolutely stunning venue, with some beautiful surroundings for portraits. There’s a church located right opposite so it’s absolutely perfect regardless of if you’d like a religious or a civil ceremony. Alice and Michael got married in the church, and then headed over to Tissington Hall for their reception and evening party.

HIGHLIGHT FILM
The highlight film, a 5-7 minute masterpiece, captures the very essence of your wedding day in a visually stunning and emotionally resonant journey. Edited in my signature cinematic style, this isn't just a collection of moments - it's a carefully curated narrative, perfect for sharing on social media, and with your loved ones. Your highlight film is more than a keepsake; it's a celebration of your love story.



FEATURE FILM
For those who seek a more in-depth retelling of their wedding day, the feature film is a 45-60 minute documentary style edit. This comprehensive film includes your entire ceremony, speeches, first dance and all the precious moments in between. Meticulously edited to the music of your choice, the feature film is a cinematic journey through your entire wedding day.

Grangefields by Cripps and Co

Since 2013 I’ve been fortunate enough to visit some absolutely stunning venues in Derbyshire. My favourite so far has to be Grangefields by Cripps and Co. It is simply break taking. Other venues I’ve visited are Hanbury Wedding Barn, Blackbrook House, and Hoar Cross Hall.

Hoar Cross Hall

Hoar Cross Hall is a luxurious hotel and spa, and also a wedding venue. The venue boasts views of the idyllic Derbyshire countryside, it’s absolutely stunning. As a Derbyshire wedding videographer I always value nice views at venues. Nice views mean good backdrops for couples portraits, which are one of my favourite parts of a wedding. Just look at the example videos below to see what I mean.

Couples can choose to have their ceremony at the Church of the Holy Angels, which is right on the doorstep, and walking distance from the venue. There’s a variety of perfect rooms for your reception and wedding breakfast. None of them are any less than perfect.
