The Mill Barns Wedding Video
The Mill Barns is a purpose built barn wedding venue, nestled in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. It is actually one of the only purpose built barn wedding venues in the UK, which makes it super unique.
The venue itself is stunning, everything about it is perfectly put together for an amazing wedding. The Mill Barns offers some fantastic backdrops for couples portraits. With a waterfront area at the front, and a woodland area at the back, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
The Ceremony Barn is huge, and can easily fit the largest guests lists. Couples take their vows on a raised area of course this means they are in perfect view of their loved ones. There’s also a balcony at the back which is a great spot for a band. It’s also where I place one of my cameras.
After your ceremony you can head outside and enjoy the grounds, or relax in the bar area. Guests are free to explore the grounds, before heading in to enjoy the wedding breakfast. The Wedding Breakfast Barn is equally as big, if not bigger, than the Ceremony Barn. It is perfect for feeding and entertaining all of your guests well into the night!

Intimate Wedding at The Mill Barns
I joined Kerrie-Anne in the morning to begin capturing her bridal preparations. Kerrie-Anne and her bridesmaids had a lovely, relaxed morning getting ready.
Kerrie-Anne’s entrance to the ceremony was marked with a traditional bagpiper, which was a lovely surprise for Ian, given his Scottish heritage. The bagpipes got Ian, and his mum, super emotional. They had a beautiful ceremony, and exchanged their vows, and were officially husband and wife. Finally! After a crazy 2020, Kerrie-Anne and Ian could finally say they tied the knot.
After the ceremony the guests congregated in the bar area, mingling and enjoying the company of each other. Because of the post Covid-19 restrictions, Kerrie-Anne and Ian had a very limited number of guests, so it kept the day very intimate, and relaxed.
Beautiful Summer Wedding day
Jennifer and Michael had a gloriously sunny, May wedding. My favourite month, as the days are usually bright, and warm. I began the day capturing Jennifer’s bridal preparations. Everything was relaxed as the girls enjoyed a bit of a pampering. Soon the guests made their way into the ceremony room and took their seats. Jennifer was escorted down the aisle, looking truly radiant, and the ceremony was underway.
After a wonderful ceremony we all headed outside for the drinks reception. The sun was glorious, and that makes me happy! The guests enjoyed spending time on the decking, drinking, and chatting, a lovely time was had by all, enjoying the beautiful summers day.
