Farm Wedding Videography

If you are looking for farm wedding videography, then you have come to the right place. Farm weddings are some of my favourites. Vision Wave Weddings is based in Congleton, giving access to weddings all across Cheshire and Staffordshire. We’re also not too far from Shropshire, and North Wales. Being so close to the countryside puts us in the perfect location to capture many different farm weddings across the counties.

Since starting out in 2013 farm weddings have quickly become one of my favourite types of wedding. Usually the couple start the day getting married at a local church. And they continue the celebrations with a wedding reception on their own farm, or their parents farm.

Tipi’s and marquees make great structures to hold the celebrations, and I’ve seen so many different types of both; each one having their own unique touch and style.

One of my favourite things about weddings being held on a family farm is how personal the location is to the bride and groom. Usually one of them spent their childhood helping parents tend the cows, or look after the crops. And they often have the most amazing memories; usually making for some fantastic stories during the speeches. 

Not only is the location personal and unique to the bride and groom, but the marquee or tipi allows their creativity to run wild. They really are a total blank canvas, open to whatever the bride and groom want to do. 

The greatest thing about farm weddings is the community feeling that surrounds every couple. Farming communities are extremely tight knit, and their friendships go back for decades. This means that quite a lot of my referrals come from meeting future couples at past farm weddings. It’s also really, really lovely to bump into couples year after year. I get to see their family grow with the arrival of babies. And of course I love hearing how much they still enjoy watching their wedding video years after!
