Alcumlow Wedding Barn Wedding Video
Being based in Congleton, Vision Wave Weddings is the perfect choice for Alcumlow Wedding Barn wedding videos. Alcumlow is a unique wedding venue based on the outskirts of Congleton, Cheshire. Also not too from Mow Cop Castle. It is part of Alcumlow Hall Farm, which is a local favourite. Especially on a hot summers day, where visitors can tuck into a Snugbury’s ice cream.
Alcumlow consists of a converted Dutch Barn, and a really unique White House. The White House is really cool, and quite unlike any of the ceremony spots I’ve seen at other wedding venues.
As with most wedding venues Alcumlow is truly a blank canvas. This allows you to run wild with your creativity, so that you can create the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.
As well as the Dutch Barn and the White House, Alcumlow boasts some amazing views of the Cheshire countryside. These offer the perfect backdrop for some couples portraits. In the summer the entrance to the venue is surrounded by cornfields, which look amazing!
Dogs At Weddings!
Another thing I love about Alcumlow is that it is a dog friendly wedding venue. Pets are a huge part of peoples lives, so I think it’s fantastic that Alcumlow let you bring them along to join in the fun.
Back in 2019 I filmed the wedding of Becca and Rob, and we were joined by their two dogs Cooper and Bruno. It was great, and they really enjoyed having their furry family members with them.
Emotional wedding days are the best!
Sarah and Tom’s July wedding was a day filled with love, surprises, and unpredictable weather. The day kicked off with the excitement of filming Sarah and her bridesmaids getting ready. To add an extra dose of joy, their adorable pup Archie, chaperoned by Pawfect Occasions, joined the preparations, bringing a playful energy to the morning.
Before the ceremony, Sarah had three special reveals – one to her dad, stepdad, and her Grandma. Chris from Carpe Diem and I couldn’t help but get a bit teary behind our cameras as these heartfelt moments unfolded.
The ceremony took place indoors due to the super unpredictable weather. With rain one moment and glorious sunshine the next, the decision ensured a seamless and dry celebration, allowing the focus to remain on the love shared between Sarah and Tom.
Alcumlow Wedding Barn Reception
I’ve known Rachael since we were 11 years old, sitting next to each other in class at high school. When she asked me to film their wedding day I was absolutely honoured. It’s always special to capture any wedding, but when someone you’ve known for most of your life asks you to capture their day it’s even more meaningful.
Rachael and Graham held their ceremony at St Andrew’s Church, in Porthill. After an emotional ceremony we made our way up to Alcumlow Wedding Barn for the wedding reception. It was a really hot day, so the guests were keen to get inside the air conditioned barn. Before they did that though, we got a confetti shot as Rachael and Graham arrived at the venue. Once that was done the guests headed inside to cool down. It was too hot to be outside!
We waited for it to cool before we did couples portraits, and I’m glad we did! No one wants to be that hot during portraits.
September Sun at Alcumlow Wedding Barn
The excitement of Eloise & Nick’s day kicked off as I started filming the arrival of Nick and the boys, accompanied by their best boy, Otis. Fortunately, the weather was on our side, allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space during the drinks reception.
A special highlight of the day was collaborating with Vandersteen Photography, capturing moments alongside her for the first time. Joining her was the talented second shooter, Ellie Poole, who I’ve worked with before.
