WESTON HALL
WEDDING FILMS
Weston Hall Wedding Video
Weston Hall is another wedding venue that I visited early on as a Staffordshire wedding videographer. Nestled in the beautiful countryside, on the outskirts of Stafford, Weston Hall sits atop a steep hill, overlooking rolling hills. It’s a stunning Grade II listed building, with a plethora of history dating back to the 1500’s.
The venue itself has a variety of civil ceremony locations, as well as playing host to your wedding reception if you choose to have a church ceremony. Every room at Weston Hall is elegant and is certainly going to wow your wedding guests. Weston Hall has kept many of its original Elizabethan features, including beautiful wooden beam ceilings and grand stone fireplaces.
One thing that I really love about Weston Hall is the various rooms you and your guests have access to. First, in the summer, (or winter if you’re tough) you have the outdoor bar area – a lot of the drinks receptions happen here if the weather is good. It’s a great open space for you to mingle with your guests, before or after the ceremony. Then inside you have the ceremony room, and the wedding breakfast room, both with adjoining bars. The wedding ceremony room is beautiful and light, which makes it perfect for filming!
Outdoor Ceremonies at Weston Hall
Lucy and Ashley celebrated their love in a delightful August wedding filled with sunshine, warmth, and special moments. The day kicked off with filming Lucy and the girls getting ready, building anticipation for the beautiful moments to come.
The weather was absolutely glorious, so Lucy and Ashley were lucky enough to be able to have an outdoor wedding ceremony. I’ll never complain about a bit of extra time in the sunshine, so I was thrilled to be filming outdoors.
The weather played its part perfectly, offering glorious sunshine and warmth that bathed Weston Hall in a golden glow.
Intimate wedding at Weston Hall
Charlotte and Martin decided to do their ceremony a little differently. They only invited their closest family to the ceremony at Weston Hall, with their guests arriving while the ceremony was happening. This meant that the ceremony itself was really intimate, very much like the covid-19 ceremonies that were allowed to happen with limited numbers. I thought this was a really nice touch, and also took the pressure off them both a little.
After a lovely intimate ceremony shared with their closest family, Charlotte and Martin headed outside to greet the rest of their guests. And what’s the best way to greet the new Mr & Mrs? Yes, you guessed it, confetti!
Festive Wedding at Weston Hall
Festive weddings really do get you in the mood for Christmas. And whilst we didn’t get real snow, Weston Hall had a snow machine that made it look like we did! Such a nice touch for Grace and Daniel’s festive wedding.
The day unfolded with the grace of Grace’s bridal preparations, a beautiful start to a day that promised to be filled with special moments. The elegant theme of the day, inspired by art deco, added a touch of sophistication to every detail. It’s always nice to see unique wedding themes, and this glamorous art-deco theme was absolutely perfect.
