Rachel & Danny’s Oak Tree of Peover Wedding
The Oak Tree of Peover is one of those venues that I kept hearing about, but had never been to. Well 2022 was finally the year! Rachel and Danny booked me to capture their wedding a few years ago, and I’d been excited to film it ever since. I was even more pleased that they’d booked Jon Thorne as their photographer!
First things first I made my way to the venue, and got a couple of drone shots. Once that was in the bag I explored the venue a little, capturing plenty of little detail shots. Before long Danny arrived with his groomsmen. It began to drizzle, but that didn’t stop us getting some “Reservoir Dog” style shots as they headed into the venue.
The Oak Tree of Peover Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony room at the Oak Tree of Peover is really nice. The floor to ceiling glass windows let in so much natural light – which makes a HUGE difference when filming.
While Danny and the guests were ushered into the ceremony room I waited outside to capture the arrival of Rachel. She looked so incredible! I quickly sneak inside before the girls, and the ceremony commenced. It was fantastic to see a couple as lovely as Rachel and Danny tie the knot. Everyone in the room was so emotional.

After a gorgeous ceremony it was time for Rachel and Danny to spend some time with their guests. The drinks flowed, as did the conversation. I spent my time capturing plenty of footage of the guests.
The weather was great so Jon and I made the most of this, and whisked Rachel and Danny off for some photos. The grounds at The Oak Tree of Peover offer a huge variety of backdrops, which is something I love.
Once finished we headed back inside and gave the couple back to their guests ready for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
