Penny & Jake’s The Chase Golf Club Wedding
Penny and Jake booked me for their wedding at The Chase Golf & Country Club, after meeting me at their sister in laws wedding a few years ago. Having to postpone a number of times I was looking forward to finally filming their special day.
I’d not been to this particular church or wedding venue before, so I was excited to be somewhere new.
Church Wedding Ceremony
Penny and Jake chose to have their ceremony at St Nicholas’ Church, in Rugeley. A beautiful little spot for a ceremony. I was able to get some drone shots before the guests began arriving. It was soon time for Jake and the guests to arrive, and they all met up at the pub near the church. I made my way across and got some footage of guests enjoying the nice weather.
The ceremony was beautiful and intimate, and it was a joy to watch Penny and Jake say their vows and become Mr & Mrs.
The Chase Golf & Country Club Wedding Reception
After the ceremony Luke from Saint Photography and I got everyone lined up for a confetti shot. After that was in the bag the guests made their way over to the Chase Golf and Country Club for the reception.
The sun was shining, and it was such a warm day. Sunshine at weddings always makes my life as a wedding videographer so much easier. Guests are able to make the most of outdoor spaces, and that pleases me. It also means I can top up my tan!
After some wonderful speeches and a delicious meal Luke and I grabbed some golden hour couples portraits! Always one of the best parts of sunny weddings.
