Nikki & Matthew’s Foxtail Barns Wedding

Finally! A wedding at the highly anticipated Foxtail Barns. Owned by Ensarb Estates, the fantastic team behind some of my favourite venues, The Ashes, The Mill Barns and Pendrell Hall. I was so excited to finally film a wedding at Foxtail Barns. Having visited the original venue. Consall Hall, I was really curious to see how different everything was.

I began the day by heading over to Nikki and Matthew’s church in Trentham. I spent some time filming in and around the church, before anyone arrived. And then it was soon time for Matthew and the boys to arrive. Their wonderful photographer, Deb Stott, also arrived! It’s always lovely to work with such a nice photographer, and I was super excited to see Deb again.

Trentham Church Wedding Ceremony

Matthew and his groomsmen spent time greeting the guests as they arrived. It was a nice, sunny day, so everyone was enjoying the time outside. Guests began taking their seats inside the church, as it was soon time for Nikki’s arrival.

Nikki and the bridesmaids arrived and they looked absolutely radiant. The ceremony was beautiful, with some lovely readings. It was great to see Nikki and Matt finally tie the knot and become Mr & Mrs.

After the ceremony we all made our way outside for confetti, and then went into Trentham Gardens. The benefit of getting married at this church is that you get access to Trentham Gardens for family and couple portraits. After Deb and I had whisked Nikki and Matt off for some portraits, we made our way over to Foxtail Barns.

Foxtail Barns Wedding Reception

Finally, Vision Wave Weddings was as Foxtail Barns. The drive up to the venue is beautiful, surrounded by quirky and stunning grounds. I parked up, unloaded and headed into the venue. The guests were all outside enjoying the gin bar, and soaking up the sunshine. They also had some live entertainment.

While the guests were enjoying the drinks and sun, I grabbed some footage of the wedding breakfast room. Which, by the way, is stunning just as expected. Before long it was time for the guests to make their way in for their wedding breakfast. The meal was absolutely delicious!

It was then of course time for speeches, followed by the evening reception. Nikki and Matthew planned a fab day, and I hope they have a beautiful future together.
