Monique & Gerald’s Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding
Since moving to Congleton, Sandhole Oak Barn is my most local wedding venue. And it just so happens to also be one of my favourites. I’ve filmed there many, many times over the years, and it’s always a pleasure to go back.
This week I was shooting alongside the lovely Helen Williams.
Monique and Gerald decided to add bridal preparation coverage onto their package, so I arrived nice and early to begin capturing Monique getting ready with the girls. I also grabbed a few shots of Gerald as he finished getting ready. Bridal prep is always a lovely way to start off a wedding film.
Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony room at Sandhole Oak Barn is lovely, a large oak barn with glass windows at the front, letting in lots of natural light. Decorated by Flossie’s Weddings the room was looking fabulous. Gerald was nervous and excited as he waited for Monique to join him at the front of the ceremony room.
Monique looked absolutely radiant as she walked down the aisle with her dad.
Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Reception
Once the ceremony was over Monique, Gerald and their guests enjoyed some time outdoors, relaxing and soaking up the sunshine. Drinks were flowing, and canapés were enjoyed. My aim during the wedding reception is to film as many of the guests as I can.
As the drinks reception drew to a close the guests were welcomed back into the barn for the wedding breakfast. While they were being seated Helen and I took Monique and Gerald for some couples portraits. Sandhole Oak Barns offers lots of beautiful spots for portraits, making it one of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues.
