Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Video
Covering Lauren and Kane’s Sandhole Oak Barn wedding was a real privilege as a Cheshire wedding videographer. Their marriage ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Church, Elworth. Their wedding reception then followed at Sandhole Oak Barn, in Congleton. I’ve filmed at Sandhole Oak Barn many times over the years, and I always love it. Working in such beautiful locations always makes me very happy to be a wedding videographer.
Lauren and Kane were both overjoyed that it was finally their wedding day! Because Kane had been telling Lauren he’d marry her since he was 13 years old. Family and friends witnessed Lauren and Kane exchange vows in an heartwarming ceremony, with a special reading from Grandad.

Lauren & Kane hopped in the Beauford to make their way to Sandhole Oak Barn. While the wedding guests all travelled in a red double decker bus. The beautifully decorated Sandhole Oak Barn was the perfect spot for the newlyweds to welcome their guests. Of course, everyone was happy and was enjoying themselves as drinks kept coming. I walked around filming the guests as they relaxed and talked.
The more spring weddings I film, the more I enjoy them. And as a bonus, the sun came out for the day, which was a blessing, and meant we could spend most of the time outside.
Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Breakfast
As the guests were being seated ready for their wedding breakfast Kane’s mum let me know that she’d booked a surprise. Singing Waiters! Singing waiters are a great way to entertain your guests as part of the wedding breakfast. The guests tucked into their three course wedding breakfast. Then as the desserts were being brought out I set up my cameras ready for the singing waiters. All of a sudden there was a loud crash as one of the waiters fell to the floor, bringing a plate of silverware with him. An awkward silence, and some guests giggling, and the waiters burst into song. It was a great way to start the singing waiters, who were absolutely fantastic!
After the singing waiters it was time for the speeches. Filming the speeches is one of my favourite parts of a wedding, especially when you get a speech as amazing as Lauren’s dads. There wasn’t a single dry eye in the barn!
Lauren and Kane really know how to create a wonderful wedding and it was a joy to share it with them.
