Lauren & Jack’s Moddershall Oaks Wedding
The 2021 wedding season has finally started to ramp up, and Lauren and Jack’s wedding marks the beginning of the “crazy” period. The first of three weddings in a row, with five weddings in a row the following weekend.
On the late July morning I made my way over to Lauren and Jack’s house, to begin the day. Lauren and her bridesmaids were already in full bridal prep swing, and already looking glamourous. Bridal preparations are always a great way to start the day, as they really help me tell the story of your day right from the beginning.
After spending some time with Lauren and the girls I made my way over to St Augustine’s Church in Rugeley. I got some shots of the church and before long it was time for Jack to arrive with the guys. Jack greeted the guests as they began to arrive, and take their seats inside their church.
St Augustine’s Church Wedding Ceremony
It was soon time for Lauren’s arrival, she looked absolutely radiant! The ceremony was beautiful, with a beautiful sermon from the vicar. Lauren’s bridesmaid had also written a poem for the couple, and it was amazing! I love handwritten poems and readings, they really have so much meaning. PERFECT for such a special day.
Moddershall Oaks Wedding Reception
After a wonderful ceremony Lauren and Jack were officially husband and wife! Everyone made their way back out into the glorious sunshine before heading off to Moddershall Oaks. Upon arrival to Moddershall Oaks guests were welcomed with refreshing drinks.
Danielle Victoria, the couples chosen photographer, and I captured some family portraits. We stole the bride and groom off for some couples portraits. The portrait session is always one of my favourite parts of the day. Moddershall Oaks has a vast amount of photo spots, each one offering a beautiful and unique backdrop. It’s always fun to explore and see what the venue has to offer.
It was soon time to head inside for the wedding breakfast. and speeches. The speeches were wonderful. All three speakers absolutely nailed it. Jack’s was so beautiful and heartfelt, he did an amazing job. Well done Jack! After the speeches the guests tucked into a delicious three course meal.
Lauren and Jack put together a wonderful day to start their married life. I hope they have the most amazing future together.
