Hoar Cross Hall
So, the day after Becci and Luke’s fantastic wedding at Hoar Cross Hall I was back again for Lauren and Adam’s wedding. I’ve never been to the same venue two days in a row, so it was pretty cool.
I absolutely loved capturing Lauren and Adam’s wedding! Hoar Cross Hall is such a beautiful venue and I love filming weddings there. One of my favourite moments of the day was when I was shooting Lauren getting ready at Hoar Cross Hall. I love capturing the bride and her party as they get their hair and makeup done. And nothing was better than when Lauren’s dad came in to see her for the first time – tears all around!
Adam was also getting ready at Hoar Cross Hall, and I joined him and his groomsmen for a short while as they got suited up. The air at Hoar Cross Hall was filled with excitement as Adam prepared himself for the day.
Church Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony was held at the Church of the Holy Angels, so Adam, the groomsmen and the guests all made their way across. Lauren and her dad made the journey over to the church ready for the ceremony to begin. It was marvellous to watch Lauren and Adam demonstrate their commitment to each other during the ceremony. We had some lovely readings throughout, especially a poem written by Adam’s dad, which I’ve used in the highlight film below (check it out).
Hoar Cross Hall Wedding Reception
Lauren and Adam shared some photo moments with the guest after the ceremony before proceeding to the reception. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and was having fun. I was still on the lookout to catch awesome moments on camera.
Everyone love a good Autumn wedding, and I’m no exception. There was a lot of cloud about on the day, but it creates lovely soft light, which does actually make life a little easier.
After an appetising wedding breakfast it was time to get ready for the speeches. Lauren’s dad had been nervous about the speeches all day, I did my best to help calm his nerves, as I knew he was going to do amazing. I was right, his speech was incredible, probably one of the best (if not the actual best) father of the bride speeches I’ve ever heard. Adam’s speech was also fantastic, with some lovely stories of how they both met. We also had a speech from Lauren’s best friend and Maid of Honour. It’s not often you get a speech from a Maid of Honour, so it was a real treat. She did a fantastic job, and everyone in the room was laughing and crying!
Weddings like Lauren and Adam’s make my job as a wedding videographer a pleasure and I just know they will build a wonderful life together.
