Katrina & Mike’s The Woodcote Chester Wedding

The very first wedding of the 2022 wedding season! It was so exciting to be back at it again, ready and refreshed for a wonderful year of weddings.

I’d not been to The Woodcote before, so I was quite eager to check out a new venue.

Church Wedding Ceremony

Katrina and Mike had their ceremony at a nearby Catholic Church. This was my first wedding with my brand new drone, so I was excited to use it, but unfortunately it was far too windy, so I gave it a miss. So the first thing I did was head straight inside the church and get set up for the ceremony. Before long Mike and his groomsmen arrived, soon followed by the guests.

The ceremony was lovely, and once finished Katrina, Mike and I headed to a nearby vintage train station for some couples portraits! A beautiful little spot for some photos.

The Woodcote Chester Wedding Reception

We all made our way to the Woodcote, for a lovely wedding reception. Drinks were flowing and Katrina and Mike enjoyed mingling and chatting with their guests. Time flew and it was soon time for a delicious wedding breakfast! Followed by some fabulous entertainment from The Singing Waiters.

Katrina and Mike put together a fabulous day, and I know this marks the fantastic first step in their great adventure together.
