It was a few weeks ago when I was the wedding videographer for Julia and Chris; I’d seen Julia and Chris at a number of weddings over the years, so I was excited to finally film their big day! The couple celebrated at Julia’s parents farm in Shropshire. I love home farm weddings as the bride and groom are able to personalise and tailor everything perfectly to their big day!
I started the day by heading over to St Swithun’s Church, where I was soon met by Chris – who arrived in style in his tractor (perhaps the cleanest tractor I’ve ever seen!) Chris made his way into the pub across the road, to be joined shortly after by their wedding guests.
Julia was delighted that finally, she could walk down the aisle to marry her soul mate. Friends and family looked on as Julia and Chris exchanged rings in a spectacular ceremony at St Swithun’s. Julia’s bridesmaid had written a wonderful poem, explaining the story of Julia and Chris, and she read it out during the ceremony, it was fantastic!

After the ceremony we headed outside, into the pouring rain, and made our way over to the farm for the wedding reception. The reception was a success and everyone had a smile on their face. Laughter and love filled the air as more drinks were served.
Unfortunately the rain stayed around for the majority of the day, but it did not dampen Julia and Chris’s spirits, there was so much fun and laughter that nobody even noticed.
Julia and Chris created a wonderful day and I won’t forget that one in a long time.
