Jessica & Joe’s Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding
Sandhole Oak Barn is my most local wedding venue, and one of my favourites. It’s always nice to be back at a venue as good as Sandhole. Jessica and Joe booked me in the spring of 2020, and were one of my first couples to actually be able to stick to their original wedding date.
As always I arrived at Sandhole Oak Barn a couple of hours before the ceremony time. This lets me concentrate on getting footage in and around the venue. Capturing the details that the couple have put so much effort into. Now, with a wedding, things aren’t always plain sailing. Unfortunately something happened on the M6 which meant that family and friends, and the groom himself, were stuck and had to go on diversions. They did eventually arrive though, much to the relief of Jessica (and everyone else).
Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Ceremony
Joe and the guests enjoyed a little bit of time outside, enjoying the weather. Before heading inside ready for the ceremony. Joe took his spot at the front, and waited for the arrival of his beautiful bride. Jessica looked amazing! A thought that was clearly shared with everyone in the room.
Your Ceremony, the registrars, did a fantastic ceremony, it was perfect! Jessica and Joe, said their vows and exchanged their rings and it was official. They left the ceremony barn, getting covered in confetti on the way.
Sandhole Oak Barn Wedding Reception
After a wonderful ceremony Jessica, Joe and all of their guests enjoyed a lovely drinks reception. Livi Edwards, the couples chosen photographer, and I had a great time mingling with the guests. Before capturing some family portraits, then couples portraits.
Sandhole Oak Barn offers a beautiful variety of backdrops for us to play with. There’s the lake, the smaller pond, the driveway, and so much more. Always somewhere new to explore.
It was such a beautiful day, with the sun shining gloriously. A proper summers day. Now if every other wedding day be like this I’d be extremely grateful. Before long it was time for the guests to make their way into the wedding breakfast barn for the speeches. Wonderful speeches, followed by a delicious three course meal, and a fantastic evening party.
