Staffordshire Farm Wedding

I’ve met Jennie and Jason at quite a few weddings over the years. So I was absolutely honoured when they asked me to capture their wedding. When the day finally arrived I was so excited, as I am sure they were too.

To start the day I made my way over to the family farm where Jennie was getting ready, with her bridesmaids. They all looked radiant, and that was before their make up was finished! Bridal preparations are a lovely way to start the day, and the wedding film. It was also really nice to be surrounded by quite a few familiar faces.

After spending the morning with Jennie I headed over to the church. They chose to get married at St Mary’s Church in High Offley, a really quaint little church. It was soon time for the arrival of the handsome groom; Jason looked super suave in his fancy suit. He definitely takes the top spot as best dressed groom. The guests also began to arrive, and Jason and his groomsmen spent time saying hi and showing people to their seats.

Church Wedding Ceremony

Once all of the guests were settled inside the church it was time for Jennie’s arrival. Jennie was escorted by a very proud dad, who handed her over to Jason.

The ceremony was beautiful, with a lovely sermon from the vicar. We were also treated to an absolutely wonderful reading from Jennie’s bridesmaid, Charlotte. Charlotte is actually one of my past brides! I really love ceremony readings, as they often make a great basis for the highlight film, as you can see and hear in Jennie and Jason’s highlight film.

When Jennie and Jason had said their vows, and exchanged rings they were officially husband and wife. Their guests were so elated as the new Mr & Mrs made their way out of the church. St Mary’s is nestled right in the Staffordshire countryside, and has some beautiful landscapes. Their photographer and I took advantage of this and we got some beautiful couples portraits. Jennie and Jason were naturals, of course, definite model material!

Staffordshire Farm Weddings

After getting some gorgeous portraits we headed over to the farm and marquee for the reception. Guests were enjoying drinks and having a great time.

It was soon time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches are always one of my favourite parts of a wedding, and this wedding was absolutely no exception.

It was a long time in the planning but Jenni and Jason pulled off an outstanding wedding and I won’t forget that one in a long time.
