Jennie & Jason: Staffordshire Farm Wedding

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Jenni and Jason’s fantastic wedding. They opted for a church ceremony at St Mary’s in High Offley, followed by their reception at the family farm. I always really enjoy farm weddings, as they can be so different and unique.

I began the day by heading over to Jenni as she was getting ready at the farm, with her bridesmaids., Having met Jenni at numerous weddings over the past few years, I was happy to be surrounded by familiar faces!

After spending a few hours with Jenni I made my way over to St Mary’s to await the arrival of Jason! Jason arrived looking sharp in a beautiful suit, he has to take the place as my best dressed groom so far. Jason spent time greeting the guests, as his nerves began to grow before the ceremony.

Jenni arrived, looking absolutely stunning, and made her way into the ceremony, with her dad as her escort. Dad looked super proud as he walked Jenni down the aisle.

The ceremony was beautiful, with a lovely sermon from the vicar. We were also treated to an absolutely wonderful reading from Jenni’s bridesmaid, Charlotte, whose wedding I filmed a few winters ago. I really love ceremony readings, as they often make a great basis for the highlight film, as you can see and hear in Jenni and Jason’s highlight film below.

Staffordshire Farm Weddings

After the ceremony Jenni and Jason left the church as husband and wife and we whisked them off for some couples portraits. We were nestled right in the Staffordshire countryside, with some beautiful landscapes and views for photographs, we took advantage of the backdrops available to us. Jenni and Jason were absolute naturals, definite model material!

After getting our couples portraits we headed over to the farm and marquee for the reception. The reception was full of awesome energy and joyful laughter. All these memories will last a lifetime, that is why each wedding has its own story to tell.

All the guests sat down to listen to listen to the speeches after the wedding meal. The speeches are a fantastic part of the wedding and a joy to capture as a wedding videographer.

It was a long time in the planning but Jenni and Jason pulled off an outstanding wedding and I won’t forget that one in a long time.
