Gabby & Lee: Upper House Hotel wedding video

My second wedding of 2019 was the wedding of Gabby and Lee, at the beautiful Upper House Hotel, in Barlaston. I’ve had the pleasure of filming a number of weddings at The Upper House hotel, and every time my experience there has always been wonderful. The venue itself is stunning, and the staff are absolutely amazing – they go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect for the bride and groom. Gabby and Lee definitely made a fantastic choice when choosing their venue.

The weather on the morning of the wedding was beautiful, meaning Gabby and Lee were able to have an outdoor ceremony! How is that for luck? April wedding, and it was outside. It made me wonder if the fine weather meant that we were in for a fantastic summer again.

The ceremony was beautiful, with some lovely words from the registrar! It was great for all of Gabby and Lee’s family and friends to be gathered to witness them join themselves in marriage. After the ceremony Gabby and Lee made their first steps as husband and wife, while their guests pelted confetti all over them!

Gabby and Lee then spent time greeting and mingling with their guests, while everyone enjoyed a drink and some photographs. It was my first time working with Ed from Behind Ed’s Lens, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him!

After the drinks reception the guests were ushered into the wedding breakfast room ready for one of my favourite parts of the day – the speeches! Lee’s speech was absolutely fantastic, and bought a tear to many guests eyes. I always love a fantastic grooms speech, as they make a great story for the highlight film.
