Francesca & Luke’s Moor Hall Hotel Wedding
Francesca and Luke booked me after they saw their friends wedding film – Nick and Ellie, who I filmed back in 2018. It’s always so nice to be booked on recommendation from past couples, it’s probably the bulk of my enquiries and bookings. I always appreciate when past couples pass my details on to future couples.
Anyway, Francesca and Luke chose to get married at St Margaret’s Church in Great Barr, so I made my way there. I was very pleased to see that the weather was dry, with no breeze, so I was able to get some drone footage at the church.
Luke soon arrived with his dad, who was also his best man for the day. Shortly followed by the guests.
Church Wedding Ceremony
Luke made his way into the beautiful St Margaret’s Church, and took his place at the front. Nervously awaiting the arrival of his beautiful bride, Francesca. My cameras and microphones were all set up, so I waited outside for Francesca to arrive.
Francesca arrived in style, in a beautiful traditional wedding car, accompanied by her very proud dad. After walking her down the aisle, and handing her safely over to Luke the ceremony began. Francesca and Luke exchanged their vows and officially became husband and wife! A fantastic moment.
After the ceremony we headed outside, into the glorious sunshine, for a confetti shot and some family portraits.
Moor Hall Hotel Wedding Reception
I’d not been to Moor Hall Hotel before, so I was quite excited to visit a new venue for a change. The venue itself is huge, with a lovely green space at the back. Perfect for a wedding reception on beautiful spring day. I managed to get a couple of drone shots during the drinks reception, and then spent time capturing Francesca and Luke enjoying their guests.
The wedding reception is often the perfect time to whisk the couple off for some couples portraits. Moor Hall Hotel has some perfect little spots for couples portraits, and we were able to make the most of the variety.
After a lovely wedding reception it was time for speeches and the meal. Always one of my favourite parts of the day, and Francesca and Luke’s speeches were wonderful.
The evening continued with a wonderful evening reception and first dance.
