Danielle & Jordan’s Colshaw Hall Wedding
Colshaw Hall is one of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues. Located in Over Peover, Colshaw Hall is a Grade II listed hall offering couples exclusive use wedding packages, making it the perfect spot to hold a wedding.
Danielle and Jordan were holding their hole day at Colshaw Hall so in the morning I headed straight over. They’d decided to have bride and groom preparations filmed, so I first made my way to the girls, who were getting ready in the Makeup Lounge. The boys were getting ready in the Den, where they could enjoy some pool, table tennis or watch TV.
I had the pleasure of working alongside Helen Williams, their chosen photographer for the day.
Colshaw Hall Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony room at Colshaw Hall is beautiful. Marble floors, oak beams and large windows, just make the room feel so elegant. Decorated with floral arrangements from Country Flowers, the room was perfect.
Upon arrival the guests waited in the bar area, enjoying some refreshments, before being ushered across to the ceremony room. Jordan and his groomsmen took their positions at the front of the ceremony room, to await the arrival of Danielle.
Danielle made her way over from the Makeup Lounge to the ceremony room, and the ceremony began. It was a pleasure to see Danielle and Jordan exchange their vows.
Colshaw Hall Wedding Reception
After a wonderful ceremony we all headed outside for the drinks reception. The sun was glorious, and that always makes life easier. The guests all enjoyed the reception, especially the canapés. A lovely drinks reception was followed by the delicious three course meal and speeches.
We waited until golden hour for the couples portraits, and we were glad we did. The light was incredible!
