Cassie and Will booked Vision Wave Weddings after I filmed Will’s sisters wedding earlier in the summer. A vast difference in time of year as Cassie and Will were having a Christmassy, winter wedding.

I started off the day by heading over to Willington Lodge, near Whitchurch, to capture Cassie and her bridesmaids getting ready for the day ahead. It was lovely to see Cassie again!

I spent a couple of hours with the girls and then headed over to St Dunawd’s Church in Bangor on Dee. I met up with Will and his groomsmen in the pub, where they nervously awaited the guests to arrive.

It was soon time for the ceremony to begin, and the guests started to take their seats inside the church. I waited outside for Cassie’s arrival in a VW Camper. The ceremony was beautiful, with a lovely sermon from the vicar.

Cassie and Will exchanged their vows and officially became husband and wife! We headed back outside, into the brisk winter air, Cassie and Will greeted their guests before we all got into our cars and made our way to their family farm for the reception.

Farm Wedding Reception

Cassie and Will made their way to their reception in Will’s awesome car. Guests enjoyed mingling inside a large marquee, where Cassie and Will chatted with their guests. We took a few couples shots with Cassie and Will’s horses. Then it was soon time for the speeches and the wedding breakfast.

The speeches were fantastic, so heartfelt, and bought a tear to many eyes in the marquee! I love hearing wedding speeches, because they really give you an insight into the bride and groom and their families. The speeches today were no exception to this.
