Bethany & Carl’s Colshaw Hall Wedding

I’ve only been to Colshaw Hall a handful of times, but since moving to Congleton it’s now one of my most local wedding venues. Bethany and Carl’s entire wedding day was set to be at Colshaw, so I made my way there in the morning. I spent some time capturing some footage of the venue, especially the ceremony room which is absolutely gorgeous.

Carl and his groomsmen were relaxing in The Den, where they could play table tennis, table football, or chill and watch some TV. Before long the guests began to arrive, and they made their way into the Pavilion where they could enjoy a few refreshments before the ceremony.

It was great to spend the day working alongside Bethany and Carl’s chosen photographer, Chelsea Shoesmith. Chelsea and I had worked together on a wedding quite a few years ago, so it was great to catch up.

Colshaw Hall Wedding Ceremony

One of my favourite things about Colshaw Hall is the ceremony room, or ceremony building I should call it. The Stables is a stunning spot for your wedding ceremony. Beautiful leaded windows, oak beams and the most gorgeous marble floor. The stuff of dreams.

Anyway, the guests began to make their way over to The Stables, either on foot or via golf cart. Closely followed by Carl and his groomsmen. Once everyone was seated and waiting it was then time for the arrival of the bride. Bethany looked absolutely incredible!

The ceremony was beautiful, and it was a pleasure to witness Bethany and Carl tie the knot and begin their journey as Mr and Mrs.

Coleshaw Hall Wedding Reception

Once the formalities of the ceremony were over it was time for everyone to relax and enjoy the drinks reception. The bride, groom and guests all made their way back over to the Pavilion, where they enjoyed drinks. It had been a little drizzly, but thankfully it was starting to dry up in time for some portraits.

Before long it was time for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Speeches are always one of my favourite parts of the day, as they often really help me tie together the story of the bride and groom in the highlight film. Bethany and Carl’s speeches were no exception.

It was a truly beautiful day, and a pleasure to be a part of. I wish Bethany and Carl the most amazing future together and can’t thank them enough for booking me to capture their day.
