A few weeks ago I was at Beth and Darren’s awesome Manchester wedding video. The couple chose the Marriott Victoria & Albert in Manchester, an astounding location to celebrate their wedding. My first experience capturing a wedding at the Marriott Victoria & Albert was very enjoyable, I hope that I will get more opportunities to video weddings there in the near future.
All weddings begin with bridal prep, and Beth’s story started at the Victoria & Albert. As the makeup was applied and everyones hair was finished off I captured the small details and the developing story. Darren arrived with his groomsmen and I met up with them in the bar and captured them nervously awaiting the ceremony.
Beth and Darren’s wedding ceremony at Victoria & Albert was exquisite. Beth’s bridal entrance was played by a string quartet, who also played during the signing of the register – they played some songs from Harry Potter, so really, who can complain? What could be better than listening to a bit of Harry Potter during the signing of the register. Beth and Darren had quite a few hints of Harry Potter throughout the day, and as a massive fan it was great fun spotting them all!
It is truly an incredible job working as a wedding videographer in Manchester.
Beth and Darren shared some photo moments with the guest after the ceremony during the drinks reception, all while being entertained by their string quartet. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere at the reception. So I waited for the perfect timing to video as many moments as I could.
The season can really have an impact on a wedding and I find Summer weddings are some of my favourite. It was a bright and sunny day, which was a blessing, and all the guests were able to enjoy the grounds. After a candid reception, it was time to hear the speeches. Some of the best reactions are captured whilst the speeches are being delivered.
