I’ve known Becca for a few years now, after meeting her at my old job, so I was thrilled when she asked me to capture her wedding day! Becca and Rob got married at Alcumlow Wedding Barn, just outside Congleton in Cheshire. I was delighted to video another wedding at the Alcumlow Wedding Barn, one of my newest Cheshire wedding venues to visit.

Weddings at Alcumlow Wedding Barn

I headed over to Alcumlow Wedding Barn in the morning, and was soon joined by Rob and his groomsmen. The guests began to arrive and they made their way to the White House barn ready for the ceremony. It was the perfect setting for Becca and Rob to say their wedding vows and tie the knot. Ceremonies like this make my career as a wedding videographer in Cheshire a very enjoyable job.

During the wedding reception the photographer and I whisked Becca and Rob off for some couples portraits – one of my favourite parts of the wedding day.

I love shooting summer weddings as the scenery can be spectacular. It was lovely to see the sun out on the day, which made the guests happy, and gave some wonderful contrasting light.The atmosphere at the reception was perfect for entertaining the guests. So I waited for the perfect timing to video as many moments as I could.

After the hearty breakfast, everyone waited eagerly for the speakers to deliver their messages. You learn a lot about the wedding party during the speeches. Rob’s speech was beautiful, he absolutely nailed it!

All in all I had a blast at Becca and Rob’s wedding and I hope they have a fantastic life together.
