Amy & Ashley’s Rowton Castle Wedding
Amy and Ashley booked me to film their Rowton Castle wedding. Rowton Castle is one of my favourite Shropshire wedding venues, and I couldn’t wait to be back. Nestled in the hills of Shropshire, Rowton Castle sits within stunning grounds.
My day began with getting some drone footage around the venue, before heading to film Amy’s bridal preparations. Bridal preparations are a lovely way to start the wedding film, so I was really pleased that Amy decided to have them captured.
It was soon time for Ashley to arrive, and he was accompanied with their two lovely sons. Before long the guests also began to arrive.
Rowton Castle Wedding Ceremony
Rowton Castle does offer an outdoor ceremony, but Amy and Ashley decided to play it safe and have their ceremony indoors. The ceremony room at Rowton Castle is beautiful! Ashley and the boys took their places at the front of the ceremony room, ready to be wowed by Amy. Escorted by her very proud dad, Amy gracefully made her way into the ceremony.
It was a joy to see Amy and Ashley exchange vows and become Mr & Mrs.
Rowton Castle Wedding Reception
After a beautiful, emotional ceremony, Amy and Ashley signed their register and made their way outside. The drinks flowed and the sun was shining, everyone enjoyed the drinks reception. After we let them relax with their guests for a while, it was time for portraits. Rowton Castle offers a variety of different portrait spots, and we were able to make use of those to capture some beautiful portraits. But it was soon time for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
Speeches are always one of my favourite parts of the day, and Ashley did an incredible job, as you will hear in their highlight film!
A beautiful day, for a lovely couple. I wish Amy, Ashley, and their wonderful sons the most incredible future together.
